October 09
- Finally, after months work we've released the new products: Drip, Scribble and Toothy. All are made in the
UK to support UK manufacturing and to reduce carbon miles. Have a look at them in our product pages, and feel
free to contact us and tell us what you think.
September 09
- We exhibited at 2 locations during the London Design Festival:
1. A Little Something From Us..., as part of Tom Dixon's inaugural event, "The Dock at Portobello Dock".
2. 100% Design, Earls Court.
June 09
- Finally, after months of development work we are glad to announce the Ribbon Coat Rack is available for
purchase. Available in 4 colours (matt black, matt white, glossy red, weathered bronze and texture yellow)
Ribbon is a functional, family-friendly coat rack when in use, and a piece of wall art when free from coats. See
the products section for more information.

- Between Jan 16 and 19 we will be exhibiting at Macef, Milan, as part of the “UKTI - British Design” collective.

May 08
- Great news, Ooob the Doorstop won the Grand Designs Award for the Best Interior Styling Product 2008. The
Ooob overcame tough competition from products by Terrance Conran and Tord Boontje to win its category.

- Ooob the Doorstop makes Finalist in the category of Best Homeware, Grand Designs Magazine Awards 2007.
- HeadSprung featured in BBC 2's, Desi DNA (The Best And Brightest Asian Design Talent, Flair For Design). Presenter
Anita Rani checked out the latest trends at the London Design Festival and met the creative young desis who are
making a name for themselves at the cutting edge of contemporary design.
January 07
- Trade show: Top Drawer Spring, Earl's Court, London.
- Ooob featured in the article Designs Of The Times, The Independent Magazine. "Another great piece is
Headsprung's Ooob the Doorstop which uses organic curves and places them in a hard-wearing utilitarian product.
It's very bright, decorative and utilitarian - and most importantly, not that expensive."
- Ooob featured in the article Desirable Doorstops, 4Homes Magazine.
December 06
- Ooob wins the award for Favourite Product on the Hidden Art E-Shop, Hidden Art Annual Awards 2006.
- Ooob featured in the article Pick of the London Design Festival, Icon. "HeadSprung's Ooob the Doorstop was
among the best of Hidden Art's offerings at 100% Design. It's designed so that you don't kick it out of place every
time you leave the room."

- Trade Show: 100% Design, London, UK.
- HeadSprung was nominated as Best Newcomer at the prestigious 100% Design/Blueprint Awards 2006. This was a
great honour for us, achieving this accolade within 1 year of start-up. |
